How the Las Vegas time zone converter works
Pick a city from the dropdown. The converter immediately displays the current time in Las Vegas, the current time in that city, and the offset.
Type a specific Las Vegas time, like "3:00 PM". The converter shows what that time is in your target city. This works for past and future dates too.
The tool already accounts for DST on both ends. If Las Vegas is on PDT (UTC-7) and London is on BST (UTC+1), it uses the correct offsets. No need to remember the season.
Why a 2 PM Las Vegas call is already tomorrow in Tokyo
Two things trip people up.
AM vs PM: When Las Vegas is in the afternoon, Tokyo is already the next day. A 2:00 PM meeting in Las Vegas is 6:00 AM the next day in Tokyo during PDT, or 7:00 AM during PST. The converter labels times as "next day" or "previous day" in the results.
Date changes: Las Vegas to Sydney is the most extreme common example. A 9:00 AM call in Las Vegas on a Monday is 2:00 AM on Wednesday in Sydney during PDT, or 4:00 AM on Tuesday during PST. Always check the date column in the converter results.
Most popular converters: New York, London, Tokyo, Sydney
